Lab grown diamonds, also known as synthetic diamonds or cultured diamonds, are man made gems with same physical, chemical and optical properties as that of natural diamonds which are found within the Earth's mantle

Lab grown diamonds are created in a laboratory environment through advanced technological processes typically using two methods

Single crystal diamond material is processed in high pressure growth chamber at 1300-1600 °C

Process takes place in vacuum plasma reactors, the chamber is filled with carboncontaining gas and heated to about 900-1200°C.

Lab-grown diamonds are graded in the same way as natural
diamonds, by assessing the 4C’s of diamond quality:

• Cut
• Colour
• Carat
• Clarity
